EXPERIENCETM MINDFULNESS
TRUTH ~ ACCEPTANCE ~ EQUANIMITY
Using Mindfulness to Help us through these Trying Days.
A big part of what we practice in Mindfulness is taking
each moment as it comes, practicing acceptance but not resignation. While we cannot necessarily change our
current circumstances, we can stay as present as possible with what comes our way. Recognizing the "stories"
around our thoughts as thoughts and not necessarily fact.
In addition, through Presence and Awareness, you can
begin to experience the pleasant moments in your life no matter how small or mundane they may seem. Taking the moment to watch a beautiful bird, smelling the flowers or
the rain, feeling the wind on your face or simply being in
the moment with your child, partner, or pet. Reminding ourselves that no matter how bad things may be, we do
have pleasant moments in our lives if we pay attention
and notice.
